In addition, this project has produced professional development materials to support the audit process.

  • Develop and trial professional development material to support the guidelines and auditing of online training.
    Project outputs:
  • A range of strategies for the conduct of quality audits in an online learning and assessment environment,
  • Resources to support the conduct of quality audits including:
    • Training activity guidelines,
    • Quality exemplars,
    • Reference material,
    • Support material (evidence guides) aligned to AQTF standards,
    • Data from a trial of professional development material with a range of quality auditors,
    • Resources for a professional development program to support the implementation and auditing of online training programs,
    • A model for auditor professional development that supports Registered Training Organisations,
    • Indicators of quality standards for online delivery of VET programs using online technologies,

Guide for auditors of online learning. Download Word (371 kb) (also available as HTML).
This resource for auditors discusses the implications of on-line delivery models for compliance under the AQTF. It has been developed as one of a range of resources to support auditors and to supplement the national AQTF resources: Standards for Registered Training Organisations (ANTA 2001) and the Evidence Guide for Registered Training Organisations and Auditors (ANTA 2001). This guide highlights the Standards where there is a strong implication for the nature of the evidence needed for compliance in an online learning environment. It has been developed in consultation with auditors and online education experts.

These documents are available in Adobe Acrobat's Portable Document Format (PDF) and Microsoft Word. If you do not already have the Acrobat Reader you can download it for free from Adobe.
