Projects: New Practices in Flexible Learning 2003

About

2003 Projects

The 2003 New Practices in Flexible Learning project supported a diverse range of flexible delivery initiatives, programs, products and services within the Australian VET sector.


Objectives

The project encompassed a range of activities and objectives including:

  • Stimulating collaboration between VET providers, enterprises and/or community organisations to deliver innovative VET programs and services within:
    • workplaces
    • localities
    • specific learner groups
    • industry sectors
    • industry value chains of suppliers, producers and distributors.
  • Increasing the adoption and use of e-learning in classrooms, workplaces, homes and communities
  • Providing support for emergent e-learning solutions which meet the changing needs of clients
  • Implementing and demonstrating the substantive use of Australian Flexible Learning Framework products and services across the public, private and community sectors.

New Practices in Flexible Learning 2003 projects

New Practices in Flexible Learning funded ten projects to a maximum of $60,000 (plus GST) to produce initiatives, programs and services that had broad applications to practitioners and/or providers within the VET sector.

The projects are:


New Practices in Flexible Learning CD-ROM

The project resources from the all the New Practices in Flexible Learning projects undertaken during 2003 and 2004, as well as additional video footage, sound and images, have been developed into two multimedia resources of 'new practices' . These CD-ROMs can be ordered through your local Framework communication officer.
