Projects: National e-VET Market Research

About

In 2000 and 2001, the National e-VET Market Research project conducted research and developed tools designed to help RTOs market their e-learning products and services more effectively.

In 2002 the e-VET Market Research Data and Tools Dissemination and Evaluation project used the resources generated in 2001 as the basis for workshops on marketing for Registered Training Organisations.

Resources

The following e-VET marketing resources will be useful for staff in RTOs who have responsibility for planning and/or implementing marketing programs aimed at promoting e-learning services. Many of the resources are also relevant to other areas of business planning. The resources can also be adapted for use in employee professional development programs, and courses for external clients.

eVET marketing workshops supplementary resources and workshop materials:
Handouts and resources addressing key issues associated with the marketing of e-Learning services
Workshop notes. (124 kb)
PowerPoint slides. (216 kb)

Sales planning checklist (32 kb)
For those involved in 'selling' training, it is sometimes hard to keep in mind that selling is a process, not an event. This checklist will help ensure that all steps in the process are accounted for. It will help with all transactions, regardless of whether the customers are students, corporations, community groups or government departments.
