2004 Objectives

Key objectives for the Community are to create and maintain communities of practice and encourage the development of flexible learning networks within the VET sector. In 2004, this project will:

  • Provide an ongoing calendar of online resources and events which support the professional development needs of VET practitioners integrating e-learning and blended approaches to their development and delivery of VET products and services.
  • Provide an online professional development service that encourages and facilitates the development of networks and communities of practice across diverse groups of VET practitioners
  • Foster sustainable professional practices, through the development of mechanisms and systems, which enable VET practitioners and managers to stay abreast of trends, key initiatives and other e-learning developments nationally and internationally.

*

"Well I think it's fantastic! So many new features, much cleaner layout, lots of clear links to other parts of the site, and it seems to run fairly quickly. Well done to all the team and I look forward to dropping in on a regular basis."
