Projects: National Promotion and Communication

About

The National Promotion and Communication project promotes flexible learning, the Framework and the Framework products and resources, within the context of the National Training Framework, to the VET community (VET providers, STAs, Skills Advisory Councils and state ITABs) and industry for the purpose of increasing understanding and enhancing take-up of flexible learning by VET providers, industry and enterprises.

The successful implementation of the National Promotion and Communication Project will assist the Communication and Leadership Program in achieving the following outcomes:

  • Creating a highly visible and coordinated set of communication and promotion activities so that there is heightened knowledge of the benefits of flexible learning.
  • Creating a coherently branded set of communication and promotion activities so that there is increased awareness of Framework resources and increased awareness of the value of the Framework as a national initiative.
  • Developing and maintaining national and intra-state networks that support the implementation of flexible learning.
  • Developing people and resources that contribute directly to the take-up of flexible learning across the VET sector.

Objectives

As part of the Communication and Leadership Program the major benefits sought through the National Promotion and Communication Project are to:

  • Increase awareness of flexible learning and its benefits across the VET sector
  • Increase awareness and use of Framework resources and how they can assist VET providers to implement flexible learning
  • Increase collaborative engagement of all states and territories in flexible learning implementation across the VET sector
  • Increase take-up of flexible learning across the VET sector
  • Increase take-up of flexible learning by industry and enterprises.
