Flexible Learning Leaders
The Flexible Learning Leaders Project was an initiative of the Australian Flexible Learning Framework for VET 2000-2004, which aimed to support the vocational education and training system to meet the rapidly increasing demand for flexible learning, including e-learning, from industry, enterprise and clients. The project concluded in 2004.
This website contains material produced between 2000 and March 2005.
Over five years the Flexible Learning Leaders Project provided funding and support for 194 professionals to develop the knowledge, skills and leadership to expand flexible learning in vocational education and training - that is, to expand choices on what, when, where and how people learn. The project established a national network of experts in flexible learning, comprising managers, practitioners, specialists, and representatives from enterprises, public and private RTOs, advisory bodies, and industry.

Search for a Flexible Learning Leader by name, state, organisation or topic of interest. Individual profile pages contain reports, presentations, publications and website links. This database also includes the 15 people funded as Flexible Learning Fellows between 1997 and 2001.
The Knowledge Tree
The Knowledge Tree e-journal was an initiative of Flexible Learning Leaders and publishes the innovations and newest research in flexible learning. Editions 1 - 6 and the 2004 Special Editions were products of Flexible Learning Leaders.
From Ideas to Action: Leading flexible learning on the ground
This 2004 publication comprises case studies and summary of skills of over 100 Flexible Learning Leaders.
